The Life Skill for September at Hesselbirg’s Taekwondo is HONOR.

HONOR is the adherence to what is right, or to a conventional standard of conduct.

10 ways to Build your HONOR at home, school, work & class:

[1]  Keep your promises, no matter how big or small.

[2]  Honesty is always the best policy.

[3]  Show your Black Belt Attitude with the 9 Life Skills of Leaders: Courtesy, Goals, Loyalty, Attitude (Spirit), Honor, Respect, Self-control, Integrity and Perseverance.

[4]  Admit your mistakes; view them as learning opportunities.

[5]  Show your gratitude with good manners; thank everyone who helps you.

[6]  Apologize to people you wrong.

[7]  Maintain a neat personal appearance to show self-respect.

[8]  Avoid fighting; violence is not the answer.

[9]  Commit to reaching your goals, short-term and long-term.

[10]  Remember that you are a role model for junior ranks; show them how to respect tradition and behave properly.
