The Life Skill for September at Hesselbirg’s Taekwondo is HONOR.

HONOR is the adherence to what is right, or to a conventional standard of conduct.

WHY IS HONOR IMPORTANT TO US?

Strong character is just as important as a strong body and mind!

“Honor is the reward of virtue.” — Cicero, Roman philosopher

“Dignity does not consist in possessing honors, but in deserving them.” — Aristotle, Greek philosopher

“Hidden within honor is humility.” — Eternal Grand Master H.U. Lee, founder of ATA

“Our own heart, and not other men’s opinion, forms our true honor.” — Samuel Taylor Coleridge, author
